Pet Hospital Of Tierrasanta - Drs. Grafton Houston and Carol Gabrielson have been spending their time and energy for many years to take care of our rescued Bassets. Their office is conveniently located just off Highway 52 on Santo Road in Tierrasanta.
Veterinary Behavior Consultants - Does your dog do things that are even strange for a Basset Hound? Dr. Patrick Melese is a board-certified veterinary behaviorist and offers office appointments and housecalls to help owners solve their pet's behavior problems. His office is conveniently located in the Clairemont Mesa neighborhood of San Diego.

San Diego County Animal Shelters - San Diego County operates animal shelters located in Carlsbad, Bonita, and San Diego. Pets available for adoption can be viewed on their web site.
Camp Pendleton Animal Shelter - Located on the Marine Corps Base at Camp Pendleton. Pets can be adopted even if you are not affiliated with the military.
Coronado Animal Shelter - Web site for the Coronado animal shelter. Pets available for adoption can be viewed on their web site.
Chula Vista Animal Shelter - Official web site for the City of Chula Vista Animal Shelter. Dogs available for adoption can be viewed on their web site.
El Cajon Animal Shelter - Official city web site for the El Cajon Animal Shelter. The shelter houses stray or relinquished pets found within the city limits of El Cajon and La Mesa. Their pet of the week can be viewed on their web site.
Friends of County Animal Shelters - Dedicated to a second chance for pets. FOCAS exists primarily to encourage a strong adoption program for animals impounded in the three shelters operated by the County of San Diego Department of Animal Control.
Helen Woodward Animal Center - An non-profit organization which helps people help animals and animals help people. Pet adoptions are just one of the many services provided by the center. Pets available for adoption can be viewed on their web site.
San Diego Humane Society and S.P.C.A. - A non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to preventing animal cruelty throughout all of San Diego County. Serving the animals and the people of the community by sheltering and finding animals new homes is just one of the many services provided by the society.
Rancho Coastal Humane Society - This organization works to promote the human/animal bond, find permanent homes for unwanted animals, and to educate the public about pet overpopulation and responsible pet ownership. Pets available for adoption can be viewed on their web site.
